Unlike other programs, Camp New York offers Summer Camp placements at a camp in either New York State or within 3.5 hours of Manhattan in New York City as well as offering other Summer camp placements across the rest of America. This allows our Camp New York participants to have greater control over their location, making it easier to explore New York City during their days off.
With Camp New York, you can immerse yourself in the rich cultural experiences that New York City has to offer, from iconic landmarks such as Times Square and the Statue of Liberty to diverse neighbourhoods such as Brooklyn whilst working with kids at a Summer Camp earning a minimum of $2300 and in some cases our Camp New York participants have earned over $5000 for the Summer! With food and accommodation covered when you’re at camp, what’s not to love?

Summer Camp Placement Duration
Summer Camp placements with Camp New York typically last for around 9 weeks, but can be shorter.
They usually start around mid-June and finish around mid-August.
Some placements may begin as early as May 1st and there are opportunties to be at your Summer camp for longer earning more money.

You have a 9-week summer camp placement in New York or surrounding areas with accommodation, food, and a salary of at least $2300.
Plus, you get 30 days before and 30 days after camp to travel and explore New York and the rest of America, making the most of your work and travel adventure.
How much do you earn with Camp New York?
Camp New York participants earn a minimum salary of $2300 over the course of the Camp New York program, which is the highest in the summer camp in America industry.
Additionally, all accommodation and food expenses are covered during your placement when at camp.
Some participants in 2025 even earned over $5000!
