Firstly, we work only with reputable and accredited summer camps that have been thoroughly vetted and meet our high standards for safety and quality of care.
We have established relationships with these camps over many years, and they are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our participants.
In addition, we have a team of experienced and trained staff who between them have over 100 years of experience in the Summer Camp sector. We work tirelessly to support our participants throughout their placement and always go the extra mile.
During their Camp New York placement, your son or daughter has access to a 24/7 emergency phone number ensuring that we are always available around the clock. If there are any issues or concerns that arise during your son or daughter’s placement, our team is always on hand to provide immediate support & assistance.
We also provide comprehensive pre-departure and orientation materials to help prepare applicants for their Camp New York placement.
This includes information on cultural differences, health and safety, how to deal and look after kids and other important topics.
We ensure that our participants, that we refer to as our Camp New Yorkers, are fully informed and equipped with a safe placement.
Moreover, our participants are almost always placed in groups with other international participants, giving them the opportunity to form bonds with people from all over the world and develop a global perspective along with Americans themselves.
This provides a supportive and diverse community for your son or daughter to be a part of while they’re away from home.

During the application process we will always deal with the applicant direct in order to comply with data protection, but if an emergency would ever occur we will always speak to you first on the basis that they have put you as their emergency contact.
