Summer Camp Jobs Available at Camp New York
We offer a variety of roles to match different skills, interests, and experience levels. All positions include comprehensive training, so enthusiasm and a positive attitude are often more important than prior experience.
Camp Counselors
As the heart of our camp experience, counselors live with and mentor a group of campers throughout the season. You’ll lead daily activities, ensure camper safety, and create a supportive community within your cabin group.
Requirements: Must be 18+ years old, have a genuine love for working with children, and possess strong leadership qualities.
Activity Specialists
Share your passion and expertise in specific program areas such as waterfront activities, sports, arts and crafts, adventure courses, performing arts, or outdoor education. You’ll plan and implement engaging activities for rotating groups of campers.
Requirements: Demonstrated skill in your specialty area, teaching ability, and relevant certifications (where applicable).
Waterfront Staff
Ensure safety and fun at our beautiful lakefront. Positions include lifeguards, swim instructors, and boating specialists who supervise water activities and teach swimming skills to campers of all ages.
Requirements: Current lifeguard certification, water safety instructor certification preferred, and comfort with various watercraft.
Leadership Team
