Description:
For more than seventy-five years, girls have been returning to Merri-Mac for summers of adventure and growth. Located high up in the mountains of North Carolina, Merri-Mac is a Christian summer camp for girls. Girls come to camp to have fun and we believe the happiest environment is one in which the love of God is demonstrated by the staff and felt by all. Our campers are girls between the ages of 6-16. Our staff are most often between 18-23 years old.
International staff have the opportunity to make new friends and connections while experiencing all that the USA has to offer. Camp is located within walking distance of Black Mountain, North Carolina, a picturesque small town with coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. There is a also bus that will take them to Asheville, the nearest city. Our international staff make friendships that cross cultures and last for years to come.
