A true camp family. Staff are welcomed into a close-knit community where everyone knows each other and friendships are built quickly.

Meaningful connections with campers. Living alongside campers allows counselors to mentor, teach, and watch girls grow in confidence throughout the summer. Those relationships are often the most rewarding part of the experience.

Share your culture. We love celebrating where our staff come from. International counselors teach campers new sports, songs, traditions, games, and customs from around the world, making camp a richer experience for everyone.

Beautiful location. Nestled on Fairview Lake in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, Oneka offers stunning sunsets, crystal-clear water, forests, hiking trails, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

A classic American summer camp. Since 1908, Oneka has been creating traditional camp experiences filled with campfires, canoe trips, waterfront adventures, Red vs. White competitions, overnights, songs, and lifelong traditions.

Develop leadership and teaching skills. Staff leave with stronger communication, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills that employers value in any career.

Adventure every day. Whether you’re waterskiing, sailing, climbing the tower, camping under the stars, leading crafts, or playing in Red/White events, no two days are ever the same.

Travel opportunities. Many international staff spend time exploring the United States before or after camp. Oneka is also within a few hours of New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C., making weekend or post-camp travel easy.

Lifelong friendships. Perhaps the greatest gift of all is the people. Our staff come from countries across the globe, and many leave with friendships that continue long after camp ends.
