Camp Woodstock YMCA, affectionately known as “The Friendship Camp,” is a traditional overnight summer camp nestled in the pines of Woodstock, Connecticut. Serving boys and girls ages 7–16, the camp offers flexible 1–4 week sessions, with two-week stays being the most common. Campers live in cabins with 10–14 peers and three counselors, engaging in a blend of structured activities and free-choice electives. The camp’s culture is rooted in the YMCA’s core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility, fostering a supportive environment where lifelong friendships are made.
